 The  Family Court Ordinance, 1985

Taka	No appeal to DJ for dower of 5,000.17(1)(c). Disobeying summons 100 tk. 18 (1). 200 tk for contempt of Family Courts 19.   25 tk  Court-fee  for any kind of suit 22.
Day	Appearance of the defendant 30 days. 7 (2022) Defendant written statement within  30 days + 21  days. 8 Summons not  in sufficient time postpone hearing 21 day. 9   For plaintiff dismissal apply within 30 days. If ex-parte apply 30 days appeal. Pre-trial hearing within 30 days 10. Framing issue within 30 days.10 While recording evidence no witness but within 3 days with satisfaction 12.  After closing evidence and reconciliation  within  seven days Conclude the  trial 13. Appeal 30 days. 17 After passing decree of  dissolution,  Court send copy of decree to chairman within 7 days and not effective within 90 days from the copy. 23
Month	Imprisonment for 3 month for unpaid decretal amount.16
Year	Payment of  decretal amount within one year.
